AFTraduction enables private individuals and business users to purchase services consisting of having content translated, revised, or transcribed by qualified translators. The viewing, browsing, and use of the website https://aftraduction.fr/ and the services it offers are governed by these terms of use (hereinafter referred to as the “Terms of Use”). Use of the website implies full and complete acceptance of these Terms of Use (ToU). By browsing this website, you agree to comply with the Terms of Use set out below and accept their terms. The version of the Terms of Use applicable is the one in force during each visit to the website. The Terms of Use may be amended by AFTraduction at any time, and users will be given prior notice where applicable. Users are therefore invited to consult these Terms of Use on a regular basis in order to be aware of any amendments made and of the version in force at the time of their visit to the website.
Access to the website
Access to the website is open by nature to persons of legal age. Any use of the website by a minor must be carried out under the full responsibility of the holder of parental authority over them. AFTraduction shall endeavour to implement all necessary means to keep our website accessible to users. AFTraduction may be required to interrupt the website at any time without prior notice, with no right to compensation. The user acknowledges and accepts that AFTraduction shall not be held liable for interruptions and the consequences that may arise therefrom for the user. AFTraduction shall not be held liable in the event of an internet network interruption. In any event, the user acknowledges that they possess the skills and resources necessary to access and use the website. To this end, the user has a computer or any other device with an internet connection whose settings clearly allow the website to function properly. The user declares that they are aware of the associated risks and accept them. The user acknowledges in particular that the information transmitted or stored thereon may be intercepted or altered independently of the website’s will. However, users are strongly advised to take all necessary precautions to protect themselves against the effects of hacking, in particular by adopting a secure and appropriate computer configuration through the installation of regularly updated virus detection software.

Limitation of liability

No right of withdrawal — Termination — Unforeseen circumstances
In accordance with these Terms of Use (ToU), the private user acknowledges that the services consist of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, the performance of which commenced following their prior express consent. Accordingly, the user expressly acknowledges that the services cannot, pursuant to Article L. 221-18, 13° of the French Consumer Code, be subject to the right of withdrawal, and expressly waives that right. AFTraduction reserves the right to close your account, after formal notice and seven days’ prior notice, in the event that the user fails to comply with their obligations under these Terms of Use (ToU). Your obligations, as well as those of AFTraduction, may be suspended in the event of force majeure in accordance with these Terms of Use (ToU). In the event that the force majeure event lasts for more than thirty (30) days, the account shall be automatically closed without either you or AFTraduction being able to claim any financial compensation.
Mediation
In the event of a dispute relating to the application and/or interpretation of these Terms of Use (ToU), the user has the option of resorting to a conventional mediation procedure or any other alternative dispute resolution method. For private users, any consumer dispute, subject to contrary provisions of the French Consumer Code or any other applicable provision, may be settled amicably through mediation via the online dispute resolution platform. Agreement on evidence
In accordance with Article 1367 of the French Civil Code, by ticking the box by which the user accepts these Terms of Use (ToU), the user acknowledges that their agreement constitutes an electronic signature with respect to AFTraduction, which shall have the same value between the parties as a handwritten signature. More generally, the user acknowledges that any document that has been subject to this procedure constitutes written evidence, just as, including outside of such a procedure, any email exchanged between AFTraduction and the user, so that any correspondence or agreement produces its legal effects with regard to the transaction in question in the same way as those bearing a handwritten signature. Unless proven otherwise and recognised as valid by a court, any email exchanged between the user and AFTraduction shall be enforceable not only between them respectively, but also against any third-party beneficiary, with the same evidential force as a writing on paper.
Applicable law and jurisdiction
These Terms of Use (ToU) are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to this website shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the Administrative Court of Bobigny, subject to the specific attribution of jurisdiction arising from a particular legislative or regulatory provision.
